Struggling with pain? Can’t find a method of pain relief that works? Time to try something new…
Quick maths question before we get started: how many physio / chiropractor / osteopath appointments have you been to? This year. Over the past few years? Since day dot?
Yeah, that’s what I thought…
It’s just part of life right? Everyone feels like this.
If you’re anything like me, it will be a lot. I started having physio for my neck and back when I was about 15. Dodgy posture following a school gym accident. On the hunt for effective pain relief, I graduated to an osteopath in my early 20’s and then a chiropractor. All of them helped. They gave me a lot of relief, most of which lasted a while. But all of them were temporary.
I’ve had hundreds of massages. I’ve asked everyone I know ‘just to pinch my shoulders’ in an attempt to release the pain and tension I carried around every day.
I GENUINELY thought that it was something that I was going to have to live with, for the rest of my life. That actually, this pain? It was part of me. It WAS me.
And then one day, I found EFT – Tapping. And POOF! It’s gone! Disappeared. Literally, gone. No sign of it. I KEEP checking, and then my EFT mentor one day said – maybe you’ve let go of it now?
And, bl**dy hell. She was right.
I had let go of the pain, by tapping on what actually caused it. It was frustration at being rubbish at gym, and being a weak feeble teenager (that’s what I felt). It was shock at the actual fall, and the sound of the gym that I kept replaying – the echoey noise and the sound of the girls around me gasping as I fell – the hysteria that came with it. I tapped on ALL of that.
Sounds too good to be true heh?
But, honest to god. It has worked.
It can work for you too. So, add up the number of physio sessions, add up the amount you’ve spent trying to find a solution, and get relief. Then let me know if you want to try another way.
